The Board of Assessment Review meets once a year, in May (Grievance Day), to hear complaints regarding residential, vacant, farm, and commercial property assessments within the town. Grievance Day is followed by several days of deliberations, depending on the number of complaints filed. Informal meetings with the Assessor's Office regarding assessment questions or next year's tax roll can take place throughout the year.
