The Pompey Town Clerk also serves as the Town’s Tax Collector. The Tax Collector is responsible for processing property and school taxes collected by Pompey town government along with school taxes for Fayetteville-Manlius and Jamesville-DeWitt School Districts.
Town/county property tax collections are collected in January and school property taxes are collected in September. Please see our Tax Schedule for critical dates in the tax roll preparation process and for the most current tax due dates as they may have changed.
If you are a new homeowner, please contact us as soon as possible so we can update your information. If you do not contact us, the bill for your property may be undeliverable causing late payment and penalty fees.
As a property owner in New York State, you may be eligible for various exemptions that will reduce the amount of taxes levied against your property. Information on exemption programs for veterans, seniors, and other categories are available through our Assessor’s Office.
